Fiction: Literary, historical, contemporary, and speculative fiction.

 

Non-Fiction: Memoirs, essays, self-help, and narratives that explore culture, society, and personal growth.

 

Young Adult: Engaging stories that resonate with teens and young adults, across various genres.

 

Children’s Literature: Picture books, middle grade, and chapter books that inspire and entertain.

 

We are particularly interested in manuscripts that offer fresh perspectives, rich character development, and compelling plots. We value diversity in voices and experiences, and we encourage submissions from authors of all backgrounds.

 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

To submit your manuscript for consideration, please follow these guidelines:

 

1. FORMAT: Manuscripts should be submitted in standard format: 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins. Include your name and contact information on the title page.

 

2. LENGTH:

    Board Book Word Count: Up to 100

    Young Picture Book Word Count: 400

    Picture Book Word Count: 600

    Nonfiction Picture Book Word Count: 1,000 to 3,000

    Early Reader Word Count: 300 to 1,200

    Chapter Book Word Count: 1,500 to 10,000

    Young Middle Grade Word Count: 15,000 to 25,000

    Middle Grade Word Count: 25,000 to 65,000

    Upper Middle Grade Word Count: 65,000 to 85,000

    Middle Grade Fantasy Word Count: 65,000 to 85,000

    Young Adult Word Count: 50,000 to 90,000

    Young Adult Fantasy Word Count: 70,000 to 95,000

    New Adult Word Count: 80,000+

 

3. QUERY LETTER: Include a brief query letter (1 page) that summarizes your manuscript, your writing background, and why you believe your work is a good fit for Page Turner Books, Inc.

 

4. SAMPLE PAGES: Please include the first 10-15 pages of your manuscript for review.

 

5. SUBMISSION METHOD: All submissions must be sent via our online submission portal at http://Ptbooksinc.com/submissions/.

 

6. TIMELINE: Submissions will be open until April 30, 2025, after which our editorial team will begin reviewing manuscripts. Authors selected for publication will be notified by June 30, 2025. We appreciate your patience during this process, as we carefully consider each submission.
